Bhagvatiprasad Gandharva is an Indian classical singer. He was born on 31st January 1965 in Vadodara, Gujarat. He is well known for Haveli Sangeet- a classical form of singing. He lost his father at the age of 6 years. His father used to sing kirtan in Bethak Mandir of Vadodara.
After father's death, this kirtan seva was entrusted to Bhagvatiprasad Gandharva.Back in the days of Hindola, Bhagvatiprasad Gandharva was singing "Naval laal ko seharo" kirtan in Raga Raysa. Param pujya Shree Brajbhushan Maharaj was very happy to hear this kirtan. With the grace of god and Param Pujya Shree Brajbhushan laal ji, Bhagvatiprasad Gandharva received his diploma with first class in a vocal department through Maharaja Sayajirao University.He also studied B.COM from the same University and then worked as an Accountant officer in Baroda homeopathic medical college.
Haveli Sangeet is an ancient classical form of Hindustani classical music sung in havelis.
